Where do I buy passes?
Only at tickets.casaluna.se — our official ticketing. Passes bought anywhere else are not valid.
I'm a beginner — is this festival for me?
Yes. Workshops run across levels in both bachata and kizomba, and day socials are the friendliest place in the scene to build floor confidence. If you can survive a beginner course, you can enjoy La Luna.
Do I need to bring a partner?
No. Workshops rotate partners and social dancing means dancing with everyone. The Jack & Jill competition is literally built around not having a fixed partner. That said, couples save with the Couple Pass — €240 for two Full Passes.
What styles are included?
This edition is bachata and kizomba (including Urban Kiz), with dedicated workshop tracks and party floors for each. Salsa joins in a future edition. The €75 Kizomba Pass covers the kizomba track only; the €130 Full Pass covers everything.
Can I stay at the venue?
Yes — rooms at Best Western Plus Åby Hotel (breakfast and gym included) are bookable together with your pass at tickets.casaluna.se. Pass + hotel packs save up to 15%. Rooms are limited.
What is the Bachata Social World Cup qualifier?
La Luna hosts a European Qualifier of the Bachata Social World Cup — a social-dance competition judged on connection, musicality, and improvisation rather than choreography. Details on entry are published on our ticketing page and Instagram.
Where exactly is the venue?
Åby Arena in Mölndal, about ten minutes from central Gothenburg by commuter train or tram. See Travel & Stay for the full guide.
Is there an age limit?
The festival is an 18+ event. Contact us at lalunafestival@casaluna.se if you have questions about attending with a guardian.
Can I get a refund or transfer my pass?
Pass terms, including transfers and refunds, are stated at checkout on tickets.casaluna.se. Name changes are usually the fastest option if you can't attend.
